Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. This page explains the two ways to do that and what happens afterwards.

Option 1 — Delete from the dashboard (fastest)

  1. Sign in at whatsapp.sambhavtech.in/login.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Close account.
  3. Confirm with your password. Your tenant data is queued for deletion immediately.

If you don't see the option, your account may be on an annual contract — email us instead (Option 2).

Option 2 — Email request

Send an email to hello@sambhavtech.in from the email address registered on your account, with the subject line "Data deletion request".

Include in the body:

  • The business name on the account
  • The Meta WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID), if known
  • Whether you want a final export of your message logs and contacts before deletion

What we delete

  • Your tenant record, account credentials, and Supabase Auth user
  • WhatsApp access tokens, phone-number registration PIN, and webhook subscriptions on your WABA
  • Contact lists, segments, message templates, conversation logs, and inbox messages
  • Bot flow definitions, conversation state, and run logs
  • Onboarding event log entries
  • Auto-provisioned Chatwoot account, on request

What we keep (and why)

  • Billing records and tax invoices — retained 8 years to comply with the Indian Companies Act and GST law.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics (e.g. "500 broadcasts sent in March" with no tenant attribution).
  • Audit-log entries referencing security or abuse events — retained 12 months.
  • Backup snapshots — rolling 35-day window. Your data is purged from backups within 35 days of the deletion request.

Timeline

  • 0–1 business days: tenant record, tokens, and live data deleted.
  • ≤7 business days: confirmation email sent. Optional final export attached.
  • ≤35 days: backups rotated out.

Meta-specific notes

Deleting your SambhavTech AI account does not delete your Meta Business Manager, your WhatsApp Business Account, or any messages already delivered to recipients' phones. To delete those:
